Optik tv availability

Looking for some information on the availability of Optik TV in the Elk Valley BC. Clicked on a plan with internet on the Telus site, entered my address and got a pop up to call a 1 855 #, which I did and after verbally dancing with the artificial chat wizard was told there was an hour wait.... so I hung up. Doesn't seem to be any other way to contact Telus which in itself is a reason for me not to consider switching to Optic TV and Internet, but curious about others experiences with it in this area. Thanks.
