Problem fixed by a Telus technician, not on Saturday as scheduled but today (Monday) late a.m. to early p.m. Unfortunately the only place the phone will now work is one that is decidedly inconvenient for me. But at least it's working again. Thanks once more for your help.

I received a Telus email today saying "We attempted to reach you today about your home phone service. We do require verbal confirmation in order to assist you. If possible, please try contacting us from an alternate number, you can also reach our tech support team at 1-888-811-2323." But I can't reach your tech support team because my only phone is not working -- can you understand this? I could provide verbal confirmation via an alternate channel such as Messenger, but not over the phone -- at least not until my phone is working, which is what this is all about. I do have a smartphone on order from Amazon, but it is not scheduled to be delivered until next Monday -- and even then I will have to get it activated in order to work. In the meantime I URGENTLY need to get my phone working. Please, please, PLEASE provide me with some way of resolving this issue!!!
