Issues Activating Premium Channels on Optik TV
I am running into continuous issues when trying to activate my premium channels on Optik TV. I recently signed up for the service and received the emails to activate, but when I click Activate Now it takes me to My Telus to login and then to the Optik TV page where I see the services under Your Premiums but I can't click anything to activate or link my accounts I only see blank boxes.
I have called in multiple times and they said this is a back-end issue and it was fixed, they tried removing the premium services and re-adding it, and I tried doing it in another browser/incognito mode/through the app, but it always ends up the same as the image.
FYI, I am in the East.
I was able to fix this just now. If you open your Network Inspector, there are calls to a `status` endpoint failing with a 429 status code. The entire Cloudflare endpoint is subject to rate limiting errors, likely due to a faulty setup.
I VPN'd into Ireland and refreshed. This made both buttons appear instantly and allowed me to set up my accounts. I'll try to communicate that to Telus if I'm ever off hold (going on 2 hours - had to take matters into my own hands to get a fix).
Absolutely unreal to have no response or fix from Telus for an issue on their end after at least a week.

Hmm yep looks like I'm getting the same 429 status code. I tried a VPN but it seems to be causing the same issue.

I am also having the exact same issue! Very frustrating. Seems to be a common issue recently. I've submitted a ticket hope to have this resolved soon. Annoying to be paying for a service that I am unable to access.

Wow the strangest thing happened. After 2-3 days of waiting I saw both of the Activation buttons show up on the Optik TV page over the weekend. I activated Apple TV, but didn't get a chance to activate Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. I checked back today to activate Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but the Activation button is gone again. If you magically see the Activation buttons, activate it immediately.
