Is there a way to program the telus tv remote to power on my pioneer receiver?
I would like to turn my receiver on and off with the telus remote. It does control the volume and mute fine.

There's a section if you scroll down a bit that says 'Pairing your TELUS Remote to AV receivers and soundbars' that has something to try.
Hi ...read that before I posted. The volume works fine. I just want to be able to power on and off the receiver with the telus tv remote. Don't want to have to use 2.

Also on that page is a section for manual pairing, which may work. The steps for that would be:
Press and hold the OK and mute buttons for 3 seconds until the green LED light stays on.
Enter the first code from the list below.
The green LED light should blink twice and go off.
Test to see if your remote powers the receiver, adjusts the volume, etc.
If not, then repeat all steps with the next number in the list below.
Here are the Pioneer numbers we have: 264, 254, 226, 218, 182, 180, 154, 153, 149, 146, 120, 017, 010
- Thanks, unfortunately none of those codes power off the receiver. Some didn't work the volume but most did.Thanks anyway. If you come across other Pioneer codes, let me know. 😊
