What are your thoughts on dynamic or static ip address configuration for modems or routers?

Can Internet work with dynamic or static ip address?

Will internet work for residential or business modems?

I use both dynamic and static addresses on my home network. Generally dynamic is favoured but there are circumstances when you will need a static address.

what happens when you disable IPv6 address, will internet work, only router, only modem or both?

will internet work , if connected to router directly to fibre or copper line?
with or without dhcp?
