Can't ping NH20A from WAN/internet

Community Power UserWas the IP address that you posted earlier the WAN IP from the admin page on the NH20A or the IP showing when you go to a website like WhatIsMyIP.com? I would assume if both match that you should be able to connect. I use the older T3200M gateway from Telus and can port forward since both IPs match for me.
Nighthawk , what you suggested provides a clue. WhatIsMyIP.com reports 172.226.164.4. But my Telus gateway/modem reports 162.156.58.53 as my WAN IP. I have the gateway's dynamic DNS feature turned on, and the gateway is registering 162.156.58.53 with the DDNS provider. Is there another layer of NAT being provided by Telus that is confusing things?

172.226.164.4 is not a Telus IP. It's an Akamai IP address which on some searches shows up as iCloud Private Relay. Are you using a Mac/iPhone/iPad, Safari, and have iCloud private relay turned on by any chance?
