Best setup moving forward

Moved houses and upgraded to 1 Gb PureFibre and brought along my T3200M with me.  Already mounted on the wall in the new house is a Nokia ONT patched into an NH20A.

I also brought with me a wired 4K PVR and wireless 4K STB which I need because my tv location has no wired Ethernet capability.

Should I continue to use my T3200M or should i use the NH20A and ask Telus to provide me with a device to provide wireless in order to connect to my wireless STB?

  • So I ended up moving my NH20A upstairs to my TV room.

So my Nokia in the basement uses a house cat line up to the NH20A.  And then I've hardwired both the PVR and the wireless box to it.

The NH20A is in bridge mode and my own router is handling Wi-Fi and data to all my other devices, other than the two optic tv boxes.

Should I be asking Telus to send me something so that I can use Wi-Fi with the optic tv box?

Hey there! The NH20A is the better choice for your PureFibre connection. It'll give you the best performance for both your internet and TV services, including your wireless 4K STB.
