Bad internet

The last few months of internet have been awful. We have the main modem + 2 boosters in a bilevel that is 1300 square feet. This should not be a problem. Everything is affected in house because Telus can't deliver decent consistent internet. I unplug modems knowing it is a temporary fix. Tvs freeze up, or don't boot up properly, lagging when streaming, not buffering properly, security cameras disconnect. We have the top of the line most expensive internet so we pay A LOT. I expect to get what I paid for.

Understandably frustrating. There are a few options for you to try:

    - Run the 'Automated Fix' tool in the My TELUS app. Within the app you should see 'Fix My Wi-Fi' as an option. This isn't a basic reset. It actually re-provisions your Network Access Hub (NAH) and clears backend issues.

    - Try unplugging one of your boosters and placing the remaining one more centrally in your home. With less signal interference this may actually stabilize the connection with your devices.

    - Check your NAH to see if there's anything other than a solid green light. Something like amber or a flashing purple light indicates that there may be hardware issues.
