Adding smart devices ti Wifi

trying to install a Honeywell 9T thermostat to our WiFi network.  Manual says compatible for 2.4ghz and 5 ghz.   On thermostat we see networks for neighbours, but not ours.   Tried setting up a Guest networks and Smarthome device,  changed radio settings, but they do not appear on thermostat setup menu.

Our HP printer does show up on thermostat as a network choice,  but is not useable for connecting to network.
