2.4 GHz network

Need to have a separate 2.4 GHz network to sync some hardware. Cannot find any method of either setting up a separate 2.4 GHz network or forcing current modem to 2.4 GHz mode.

  • I used 3 bands, 2.4G, 5G low and 5G high, with same SSID, and successfully connected to Ecovacs DEEBOT which can only be matched by 2.4G when they are all enabled.

If you have the T3200M router, you can turn off Smart Steering in settings. On the newer Arcadian Hub, you may be able to turn off the 5 GHz radio temporarily in settings, and turn it on again once you have set up your devices.
