Can't replace Boost WiFi 6 with Boost Wifi 7
Received a Boost Wifi 7 box on May 22nd, 2026 and have been trying to install it via the MyConnect App.
The MyConnect App still does NOT support nor show the Boost WiFi 7 as an option for the setup.
When plugging in the Boost WiFi 7 on another RJ45 jack it inherits the SSID of the existing WiFi network from the Boost WiFi 6 box. However, I am required to return the Boost WiFi 6 back to Telus.
The problem here is that the moment I remove the Boost WiFi 6 from the network. The Boost WiFi 7 box no longer broadcasts the network and since it is not in the MyConnect App, it is impossible to setup.
Is there anyway I can transfer the existing SSID to the Boost WiFi 7 from the Boost WiFi 6 so that I can fully uninstall the WiFi 6 and ship it back before I incure fees even though it's partially on Telus for sending me the WiFi 7 box so late and for NOT having the Wifi 7 as an option in the app to setup.

Actually. Disregard. The Boost Wifi did finally properly inherit the changes. The MyConnect however still doesn't work correctly. Do get that fixed.
