GSM will not work with Telus.
3G/HSPA as long as it's 850MHz and 1900MHz should work.
LTE band 4 might depending on the phone as long as it's 2100MHz.
Which phone are you looking at?
An iPhone 6 is not a basic GSM phone. As long as it is capable of 3G/LTE in the USA or Canada, and the phone is unlocked, it should work.
No GSM device will work on the Telus network. Only Rogers. GSM also has horrible speed and reception as it's decades old. You'll need something that will be compatible with the Canadian 3G or 4G/LTE standards.
Blu a7 will work as will unlocked phones from the usa . You post this stuff ,saying They wont and people don't buy the cheaper phones .Your not helping the community . so people inexspensive unlocked phones from the usa amazon site will work a new sim card needs purchased is all 20 bucks . And if it didn't work amazon will refund you every cent they stand behind their sales.
What Nighthawk actually means is, service on GSM bands is not offered over Telus. Most GSM devices will work on Telus as long as they have the appropriate 3G, HSPA, 4G, and or LTE bands where you will be using the service.
