Travelling to China
My Uncle will be travelling to China soon with a Telus Asia Travel Pass for his trip. With this roaming pass will he be able to access his Gmail and Google Messages. I heard Google Services are blocked in China. Or he needs a VPN to do so.

Google's core services, including Search, Gmail, YouTube, and the Play Store are indeed effectively blocked in mainland China, meaning for the most part he won't be able to access those.
