Really, prorated month? The Bill was supposed to be $80.00, how could $185 be just adding a prorated month?
I noticed you have no comment on the wait times. Sounds like this answer was you AI Bot.

1 month agoOne time charges such as activation fees, taxes on mobile phone subsidies, Optik TV hardware, installation fees, and proration can all factor in increasing your first bill. We have a helpful guide at https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/understanding-your-telus-bill under the "Why your first bill might be higher than expected" and "Understanding partial charges or credits" that can help walk you through some of these. Have you had a chance to review your detailed bill Gary?
