Billing Errors And Wait Times

I switched to Telus Mar 3/26 and received my 1st bill today $185.00!!!. I agreed to 2 phone lines at $40.00/
line and my 1st bill isI would like to know why we have to wait so long to speak to an agent, put on hold for 45minutes, agent came on and forwarded me to the Loyalty Dept! Another 1hr 10min. 2hrs to speak to someone?

    The higher amount could be due to proration for the partial month, activation fees, or any additional charges that might have been applied. Did you have a chance to review your a detailed breakdown of your bill?  You can check it in your My TELUS account through these steps:

     

    1. Log in to your My TELUS account on TELUS.com.
    2. Go to the "Billing" section.
    3. Select the bill you want to review.

    This will give you with a detailed view of all the charges and any proration that's on there.

      Really, prorated month? The Bill was supposed to be $80.00, how could $185 be just adding a prorated month?

      I noticed you have no comment on the wait times. Sounds like this answer was you AI Bot.

        One time charges such as activation fees, taxes on mobile phone subsidies, Optik TV hardware, installation fees, and proration can all factor in increasing your first bill.
