For the entire evening I'm trying to start PikTV app and it just displays a blank screen for a while, then kicks back to Home. Netflix, YouTube, etc. work.Is there a status page for the service, or is it always on our side?
Fades to black for a few seconds then return to the previous screen (home), as if it crashed. Restarted and Rebooted Th box and it didn’t help. It’s on the latest update. Other apps, such as YouTube, work fine.

Same experience - after 10-15 min in any app, such as Netflix, YouTube, VLC, PikTV app kicks in and closes the active app.Maybe it's time that Telus accepts that PikTV is a failed experiment, in spite of all the good intentions.
Factory reset solved it for me as well. Frankly, I can’t complain about $10/mon, but PikTV is still beta and TELUS should allow for some form of diagnostics so that i don’t get yelled over by my wife when things stop working.
Did a factory reset, PikTV starts now. What a hassle. Back to the usual programming, which means... slow UI, a few seconds before the guide shows up...
