NETFLIX on Optik TV Guide...!!

NETFLIX is on my Optik TV guide. But won't work when I try to activate it. Does anyone know the launch date of this? HOW EXCITING..and ABOUT TIME!

Welcome @trvcm: What we know is that it will need to connect the TV-Set through the router via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fy it has to be a smart HD-TV-connected to the InterNet & follow instructions. Open these links for more information. Consider to switch to Shaw.ca: #1 in BC

@v9I believe @trvcm was suggesting that Netflix is now available on the telus optik box, not asking how to get Netflix on their TV.

I heard rumours that this was coming. I'd be curious to see what sort of implementation they used.

As you can read out it said 2nd sentence. "But wont work when I try to activate it" He has tried to make it work, but it hasn't been successful. That's why the infamous <v9> provided him/her with 2-Solutions.

Nobody knows if Netflix is available on Telus-SAY so. Weird most of the high profile advisers-Don't answer the question to the OP-But point fingers to other repliers workarounds. Hope they review their performance to-Have a friendly forum. Let's wait for "trcvm-Decide" if these solutions are right or not. Bye <v9>

Well... we can’t share all our secrets, but I can let you know that Netflix will be launching on Optik in the near future. Glad folks are excited 🙂

Not sure how slick it will be compared to a roku. I imagine it will be slow and painful, will really be a blunder if can't autoplay next episodes. The 430 and 330 will chug with menu selections like stingray music. Which brings up why are they still listed as galaxie on the guide and website material was rebranded a while ago.

That's a good point. I do like Netflix my Roku. I'd hope Netflix would work fine on the 430/330. The big thing I'd be interested to learn is if Netflix on STB would use bandwidth like it does on the Roku/iPhone/PC etc.

I see Crave in the Guide and in the Apps, but no Netflix.

Roll out will be in phases, like all other roll outs. Look for it on channel 422 and the Apps menu.

I KNEW I SAW IT! It's disappeared though. But i know where to find it once it's up and running. Hoe convenient. Hope it swaps to the next episode automatically 🙂

not working 😞 error message came up. the same error message from a few weeks ago. is this because it isnt officially launched yet in Calgary?

Netflix on optic tv just showed up today (tonight).

It works. Location=  north calgary.

Still not working. Why am I getting that error message? Should I bother calling it in yet? Downtown Calgary. Condo building.
