Something looks seriously wrong between your modem and the next Telus server/router. I'd say call Telus again. I suspect you'll be getting messed up latency regardless of the server you test to as a result of this. Either your VDSL POTS splitter is messed up or the modem is.

spliter and modem have already been replaced and as for contacting telus i had to fight tooth and nail for 2 weeks to get a tech here once and take a day off work to wait for him. its alreeady cost me $250= to get lied to and have nothing fixed. any other ideas? can i repair anything myself?

Hmm. Those results are from when you are hard wired direct to the modem with nothing else connected?

I'm still thinking it's between the modem and the outside since the first IP (10.x) has such high latency. If you're on your second modem/splitter and you're getting identical results to the first ones, most likely either a port failed (box in neighborhood or central office if you are close enough) or something somewhere down the line is malfunctioning.

I'm certain it's not a widespread issue. They should be able to switch the ports without you being home, or if they need you around, see if they can come out on your day off. I'd call in and see if they can get Network Support to check the hardware / port remotely.

I'd also follow up on that service crew that you originally mentioned. One other thing you can try in case something in the house is messing with the line, is to unplug all phones etc from all phone jacks and leave only the modem by itself connected. Do you have a home alarm connected to a phone line?

no no alarm or home phone i turned the breakers off to everything but the room with my rougter/comp and tried but no luck. when the tech was here he replaced everthing from pole to computor and it did nothing. the hop wherew i get packet loss starting is on  the pole correct?

anyway thanks for trying

The first hop will be further away than the pole. It's likely the central office. I'd still recommend calling them to ensure the port on the card has not gone bad.
