Hello.

I live in Calgary SW and I use Internet 15 plan with Telus optic TV

I would like want change my Internet plan but this area does not available for high speed Internet.

Also unlimited data add-on is not available.

Every month I used over 350GB and pay over 100$ for over usage Internet.

I used this plan almost 2 years.

Do I need telus home phone or move to a new place?

Thank you.

Yung - You need to CALL Telus to get the unlimited option. It will not show up when you check your address. If you are in an area where higher speeds are not available yet, you'll need to wait for the fiber upgrades.

If you're using that much data, it would be cheaper to get the Unlimited option added on. When you called Telus, who said it wasn't available?

15mbps is classed as high speed internet. When you put your address into their availability tool, what was the maximum speed it listed for your address?

Are you on a contract currently?

Yes I checked because when I register with telus they said my home area does not available other plans.

Also I checked my address on telus availability tool and It said not available on my area for other high speed plans with unlimited option.

To my knowledge the unlimited add on is available on ALL Telus internet plans, with few exceptions. I recall it is even available on the old 6 Mbps service IF higher speed is unavailable in your area. I suggest first logging in to the 'My Account' section of the Telus.com website to see if you can add the unlimited plan from there, and if not, call in (again) to ask to have added to your current plan.
