There have been a few situations where my STB can't power off, yet the longest time it will stay on is 24hrs. It would be a welcome change to be able to disable the energy saving feature on the boxes, to prevent them from entering stand-by.
This is on option that should be on the box, it's annoying and i don't care to conserve any energy for the amount it actually saves. We shouldn't have to call in to change the SLEEP time.
I have a problem when seniors can't figure out what to do when the STB goes to sleep after 4 hours..... I wish there was an option to increase to 8 or 12 hours. Where I can set the TV up and then go to work.
