I like to leave my television running while I go out for noise. I used to be able to do that, since I switched over to Telus... I no longer can. It goes into sleep mode.

How can I change this?

After 4 hours of no channel change or activity, the cable box shuts off. Is this what you are calling sleep mode?

The set top box can be programmed to run longer when channels are not changed, however I believe only TELUS can do this, in other words it is not under your control.

Hello,

The Set Top Box will go into sleep (energy saving) mode after four hours.  Telus can change it to 24 hours but you need to call into technical support for them to make the change.
