I'm curious about TV services in Ontario

Will we get Optik in Ontario?

I don't have access to that specific info since I work for a Mobility dealer in Ontario, but my guess would be it's unlikely. Ontario already has Cogeco and Rogers as the major players for home cable providers. Telus would have to spend a large amount of money to squeeze into a market where they probably wouldn't gain enough marketshare to make it a sound investment.

There are currently no plans to expand the Optik footprint outside of AB/BC and northern QC.

In Ontario the closest comparison I can suggest is Bell FIBE. It's based on the same IPTV 'Mediaroom' platform as Optik.

I think Telus should consider offering mobile TV service (Optik on the go) with the mobile phone customers in Ontario, because as it stands, Telus is at a competitive disadvantage with Rogers and Bell as they offer mobile TV services to their customers, while Telus can't.
