I see plenty of people in Alberta with out of province numbers. You may need to update your mailing address unless you can still get mail through the old address.

Yes, you can keep your BC cell number after moving to AB.
If you change to an AB number you will not have to pay PST.

If I moved to another province. I would either give up the number or look into having it transferred to VOIP.
If you wanted to share that BC number with someone in AB, they would be calling long distance each time they tried to reach you.
