can u upgrade telus wireless router . we have a family of 5 . or wireless speeds are weak . our bedroom is literally less than 12 ft away from telus's lame wireless router and our signal strength is is spotty at best.continually kicking us off the web or just slowing it to a crawl. you would think our optic 50 from telus which we pay 75 a month for they would have a decent router.

Call Telus and see if they can get you the signal booster. There's no hope for a decent router. Telus hasn't had one yet.

Something is seriously wrong... my modem works great 30 feet away, even through multiple walls. Some smaller devices with puny antennas need some additional reach, so I replaced the 5dbi antennas with a 12dbi. Signal is so strong.

Telus wifi-plus, signal extender. Free install for Internet-50. All others pay $100.

A tech will come to install it by running an ethernet cable to some spot, in order to provide a better signal in the home.
If the issue is with wireless channel interference(neighbors), you can scan for a better channel with inSSIDer

This version is still free. Version 4 has become a paid product.
Beware that it can burn out a cheap wifi stick over time, due to it cranking up the power to be able to see everything(strength and other technical data).
