If you call in to Telus, they will ask you a number of questions to determine your identity, and access to your account. Some other methods used are to ask the last bill payment amount, recent calls made, or other questions only the account owner would know.
You don't have a copy of an old bill filed away somewhere? The account number would be there as well.
