So we were convinced to switch from Shaw to Telus after repeated visits by Telus and in part the offer of an ongoing post secondary student discount to our tv services that could be applied following the expiration of the current 6 month discount. Two discounts can not be applied simultaneously. I tried today to find out how to go about applying this discount only to find that the student discount ended in October. We have it in writing from the person at our door that we signed off with that the student discount was an ongoing discount provided that we gave them a student number. We obviously just got scammed. Really unhappy with Telus especially dealing with the ongoing freeze ups and pixellation on our tv. Anyone else have this experience of offers not holding up?
@Baygulls5 any issues with your services (pixelation and freezing) you must call Telus to schedule a Service call so they can't properly diagnose and fix the issue. Talking to a CSR rep alone and trouble shooting will not help in this case. As for the billing (promo issue) you will have to discuss that with Telus perhaps @RhoLee can look into this.
