How to run mrt to remove win 32 Trojan group

Want to be sure win 32 trojan has been removed - used mrt in xp, did not detect it. Now forget how to run mrt. Virus was found and quarantined by Avast.

Not something supported by Telus typically unless it's something with their antivirus software specifically.

 

Win32 is part of the name of a LOT of different malware/trojans. Some are particularly difficult to remove (especially the ones that pretend to be antivirus software). You'll need to be more specific which of the Win32 malware you had. Some are designed to be invisible to most antivirus software. Some appear to be deleted but come back.
