Hey there!
There is an outage currently with our mail service. Webmail is down. This could be why you're experiencing what you're experiencing. In the future, I would double check and log into webmail.telus.net and see if you are able to send and receive there. If you are, this is an issue with Outlook and not Telus therefore you would need to reach out to microsoft or a computer technician.

The mail server outage is affecting both POP and IMAP/webmail

Just to make it clear is that both webmail and pop mail server from a computer using an email program are down.
