Building upgrade?

I live in a building with ETTS 50 in downtown Vancouver. 50??! Who do I gotta talk to about getting something better than having to go to Shaw or calling Novus can come into the building? Is that limitation from the building, or Telus?

Has Telus told you that's the highest speed they can offer in the building and if so, are you sure it's real ETTS? That technology can be capable of gigabit speeds if there is Fibre fed in to the utility room and the inside wiring of the building can support it. I know Telus was looking in to expanding ETTS about 5 years ago but backed down for various technical reasons.
