Any benefit to using a device with no balance?

Say I have a business core account with telus. There are two mobile devices. The balance is already 0 on one device, and it will soon be on the other. Does using a fully paid off phone afford any savings on my monthly bill or offer any other benefit?

You can change your plan to a CURRENT "Bring Your Own Device Plan" at up to $20 off the current subscription price. Depending on your current contract pricing, it may be to your advantage keep your current plans, and possibly purchase future phones outright, still keeping your current plan.
