Gamers are always looking for that new game to jump into. Tossing that amazing pass in Madden, pulling out that clutch Call of Duty comeback...I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played through BioShock or the Batman Arkham games.
We wait with baited breath for the big titles, even years down the road (Cyberpunk 2077 or Red Dead Redemption 2, anyone?), but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a ton of amazing new titles along the way to sink our teeth into!
Let’s take a look at the soon-to-be-released Capcom third-person RPG Monster Hunter: World.
Monster Hunter: World is the sixth title in Capcom’s MH series and anyone who loves third person RPG games can jump right in! You’re a Hunter tasked with tracking down massive creatures like dinosaurs or even dragons! In this fantasy world, anything goes. Complete quests and hunts by yourself or in online co-op.
What I’ve always loved about the MH games is how quickly you’re thrust into the action. Some RPG games can be daunting, but this title is simple to learn. You’ll get quests to collect certain materials for your hunting weapons, or kill a dozen low-level creatures but the main monster hunt is where this game really shines.
I was really impressed with the open world the game takes place in. It’s a living, breathing ecosystem full of flora and fauna, and you’re completely free to hunt in your own style. I can’t wait to set off in to the world, ready to take down the next monster!
Monster Hunter: World releases on January 26th for both the Xbox One and PS4.
Let me know if you plan on picking this title up, or what other game you’re anxiously waiting for!
