Telus Optik-TV: How does one set NetFlix primary location?

Telus:  With reference to https://help.netflix.com/en/node/128339?g=c0a66aaa-a712-489b-913f-ecace59fd099&lkid=URL_LEARN_MORE_1&lnktrk=EVO ...  How does one set the primary location in NetFlix app in Optik-TV?  (Television is not a "smart TV" -- it is showing what is provided by the Optik-TV box.)

Example:  "From the Netflix home screen on a TV, press left to open the app menu" does not appear to work as described.  The NetFlix menu does not seem to have "Get Help".

Suggestions?

  • Depending on how old the version of Netflix on your TV is, it may not have the same menu options as current ones. You could also just log in from your PC. As long as Netflix can identify your network (aka harvest your identifiable data), there shouldn't be an issue on the TV end.

The Netflix support page you linked also includes:

If a primary location is not set
If a primary location hasn’t been set, we will automatically set one for you based on IP address, device IDs, and account activity.

I no longer have Netflix but recall that "Get Help" wasn't obvious as it's in the lower right when you are in the main Netflix menu.
