How do I stop my box from turning itself off? Can not find anything in settings.

you should have a screen of available wifi networks to connect to. If your Telus WIFI which is WIFI6 is not listed then it is not able to connect.
I need some assistance connecting my high speed wifi to my Samsung Smart Tv which was made in 2012
Does your 2012 TV support WIFI 6, probably not
