TELUS tv box control remotely

My Mother is blind. She is not able to listen recorder programs. i need help to  know any way i can control TELUS tv box through my android phone . any app or any hardware. Thanks

    Hi satbir , you can try downloading the Google Home Application on your Android device to see if it will fit your needs.

     

    1. Make sure the phone and STB are on the same Wifi network.

    2. Download the Google Home application from the phone’s app store.

    3. Launch the Google Home application and select the set-top box from the “Devices” section in the app

    This process will only need to be repeated if the box is factory reset or the Program Remote with TV option is used again.

    Hi satbir - We do have described video as an accessibility function built into our Optik platform but it needs to be enabled with the remote
