Setting the guide to your favorites only TelusTV-21T
I spent two hours with tech support and my options button only has All Channels
then I found this forum and the below pinned on how it is supposed to work
Then I spent another hour and half in a chat with tech support. A new box was sent out with the same results, unable to choose a guide with only the favorite channels.
Then I have been PM ing with Kate who is BTW trying to help.
A known problem without solution it appears, but everyone is trying to help. Everyone agrees how it should be.
Anyone else having this issue?
Guide | Press the Guide and then the options button
You can also use the “Options” button to filter the guide to only show subscribed or favourite channels.

Hi sportsguy1 can you try logging out of the box and relog in? You can do so via: settings -> account information -> switch account -> log out
Let me know if it changes anything after you relog!

9/13/24 still waiting for the 21T tuner to start with My Favorites when turned on. Interestingly the online app is able to open with My Favorites. Too bad two separate crews are doing software programming.
Reminder it worked well from February until the July 2024 update.
Look forward to the September 20th update promises
Last night rebooted after choosing Favorites, it remained Favorites after reboot. Turn on this morning and it is subscribed.
My boxes were acting same way when first installed. Lately seem to hold onto My Favorites when powered down or sleep mode.
🫰 for the Sept 20th update noted by some Telus Support folks on early posts.
9/5/24 to 9/8/24 I had My Favorites as default, kept quiet. Tonight 9/9/24 I check and it is defaulted to subscribed.
But online app is still default to My Favorites.

Mine still defaults to My Favorites for past week or so. Still not "remotely" functional with channel up/dn buttons.

9/4/24 guide is still default subscribed. If Telus techs cannot fix what they already fixed then this is first notice of ending contract, it will not be renewed. I want My Favorites as the default menu when I open the guide

My Favourites are seemingly holding when boxes are powered down and up. Now, if they would only function when channeling up/down.😱

TTV+ form and function needs a lot of work. Current iiteration is sub-par and with customary, legacy functions missing it's very aggravating. Certainly not intuitive for the uninitiated.
Hopefully, Telus' Dev Team is listening and paying attention to all the frustrations and suggestions posted on this forum for over a year now!
Also tried Optik-Kate's log out - log in suggestion and no luck.

Penned my first post before realizing I had to register. Upon registration thought I had to do over. Apropo really 😉
I installed (3) TelusTV-21T boxes August 8th. After many hrs (too many) with tech support folks and modem reboots, tv box reboots and factory resets My Favorites still revert to scrolling All Subscribed channels.
Another wrinkle when boxes are powered off or go to sleep when reactivated My Favorites revert back to All Subscribed even though 💟's remain on all the selected Favorites. Hence you have to hit guide and options filter to reselect the button for My Favorites (infinite loop).
'Heart it and watch it" is more like "headache and ditch it"🥴
Hopefully Telus' Sept 20th update will "resuscitate it"💟
I installed (3) TelusTV-21T boxes on Aug 07, 2024. Many hrs (too many) consumed with tech support these past few weeks. Have done modem resets, tv box resets on all and still not able to get My Favorites to work. I can create My Favorites no issues in doing so. When I channel up it scrolls through All Subscribed.
Additional wrinkle when you power off or box goes to sleep and you reactivate, it reverts back to My Subscribed Channels, although the hearts 💟 remain on all the selected favorites.

I agree with Rocky that this is a real issue and I have followed same steps and same result. The only option he shows in his pic is one that allows one filter option "All channels". I made the mistake of choosing that option thinking maybe it would go to a sub-filter allowing me to customize it. Nope my guide actually shows every possible channel available even the hundreds I am not subscribed to. And even worse it will NOT allow me to deselect the option now! So I am now stuck having to scroll through the expanded guide and accidentally hitting channels only to be told "go to MyTelus to subscribe to this station". Really hope a complete reset and the new software update due September 20 can help or I'll need to return this box.
