PVR Recordings
I'm about to up-grade my cable/PVR box but don't want to lose some of the recordings on it. Is there any way to transfer the recordings on my Telus PVR to a thumb drive or external hard drive
Unfortunately that's not possible as the data is encrypted.

Community Power UserIf you have one of the older PVRs with the hard drive in it, no. The recordings are encrypted and are only playable on the box they were recorded on.
