Optik Set Top Box TelusTV21-T - Fail to Complete Boot Up - Power Supply
Box refused to boot up. Created booting cycle with no completion.
Compared Box required amperage (1.0A) with Power Supply output. Its maximum (0.36A).
Found appropriate 12VDC 1.5A Power Supply.
Frustration solved.
I am all ready for the failure of my other Optik TelusTV21-T.
Time saved: Not communicating with a Bot, Sitting on Hold, Waiting for a Callback that never came....Precious!

This is the Telus 21T where the round power cord is changed to the USB C style. Still 1.5A Don't have more info, hope the power cord with a USB C adapter does not fail, as it was the part that plugs into the wall to convert to 12V that was the weak link.
The new power supply USB C is 5V @1.5A
Which power adapter did you get?
Yes, I have a back up power supply after finding this issue after the third TelusTC-21T arrived. The second tuner immediately worked with #3 power supply.
