No signal

Bedroom Optik TV stopped working, only displays "No Signal", living room TV ok, tried changing source, re-seating HDMI cable, resetting router and modem, numerous re-power attempts, it will briefly say Telus on screen, but then goes back to "No Signal"

  • Same symptom since early September. 3 Telus phone techs and 1 site visit with no solution. Visitor tech notes that unless HDMI link to TV is secured, box will not connect to Telus and validate account and no output, setup or otherwise (bar odd intermittent Telus logo) will display on TV. Has seen other instances but has no solution.  Box will link with computer monitor.  4 Boxes, Hisense Android TV (#1 and Hisense Google TV (#2) all exhibit identical behaviour.  Suspect some software Google update of Android system is snafu cause.

    Hi Joy2024 - please unplug power to the affected box. Once unplugged, please reboot your router. Once the router is back online, plug the TV box back in to power.
