New TCl tv. Can not program Optic TV slimline remote to operate.

Have tried all available tv remote codes, including those from TCL call centre. None work.

What model is your TCL tv? Have you scanned ALL codes, some manufacturers work on other brands. Follow the instructions on this link specifically number 10.
