My cable box has a mind of it's own

We have 3 tvs in our home.  When we are watching any channel the tv will randomly changes to the Prime home page. It happens on 2 of the 3.  The other one's screen freezes randomly.  If I unplug and re-plug it stops for a few hours then starts again.  I'm getting tired of hopping up to do that. I spoke to a Telus rep who told me he would send me a new box to try and that he would call me on Friday to see how it was working.  I didn't get either. Anyone out there have the same issue or know what the problem could be?
