Movie rental cost
Why has the movie rental cost gone from $8.00 to $25.00???

- The $25 rental fee is most likely a premium movie rental. Movies thet were just in theatres seem to be release earlier to on demand rentals now but there is a premium price to watch it. For example Dune 2 would most likely be a premium rental at $25 . A month or two down the road it will go down to a $7/$8 rental.

That sounds like a purchase price. Which movie are you looking at?
Purchase price is $30. All the new releases are $25 for 2 day rental now.
I usually get the 5 pack movie rental coupons, used 3 at the $8 rental price, but the last one only deducted the $8 coupon value from the $25, so payed $17 for the rental without realizing what was going on.
I checked and all the new releases are now $25, not sure about other rentals.
