HDMI Handshake issue.
Hello
I have had a problem for several months that has become worse. When I turn my TV on it can have a green screen. I can hear the audio from a program and I can change channels. I have changed HDMI cables and got a new PVR. When I unhook the PVR HDMI cable from the TV the green screen is gone, I get the normal Sony screen. My TV settings are correct, I have a 2021 4K native 120 hertz TV with a few 2.1 HDMI inputs. It’s and Arris PVR 5662W. Any ideas out there? Really frustrated, thx.
Some things to try:
A different HDMI port on the TV
Turn off HDR (if available)
Is there a setting to use an older HDMI standard (1.2 or 1.4)

Tried all the HDMI ports, turned off HDR, no lower than 2.0 HDMI. It appears my issue isn’t uncommon with Sony TVs. Contacting Sony next.

Check the troubleshooting section of the manual as there may be other things to try.
