Bluetooth headset and Optic TV (Samsung)
I have a Sennheiser HD 350BT headset that I'm trying to successfully pair to my Samsung TV (1 year old) on Telus Optic TV.
This morning I got as far as having the TV find the headset. Once that was done, thinking the next step was to switch to the Telus Optic TV remote, I discovered that the TV would not switch over to the Optic remote from the Samsung remote.
What am I doing wrong?

Did you follow the instructions for programming the Optik remote?
https://www.telus.com/en/support/interstitial/program-your-remote-for-optik-tvTo be clear, the TV doesn't switch anything, it has no idea which remote you are using. You can still use the Samsung remote after programming the Optik remote.
