4k channels coming to Telus Apple TV app?
I've noticed that the new Telus box (cloud storage) has 4k channels for streaming but the Apple TV app does not. Are 4k channels expected to be available on the Apple TV app in the near future?

It's definitely on the roadmap and our team is working on it. While I can't give a definitive timeframe for it now, we'll be sure to let everyone know once it is!

It’s been one year and I still have not seen any updates on 4K channels for the TELUS + app on Apple TV 4K. Is this still something we can expect? I’ve tried to use the optik box but it does not compare or even come close to the experience and quality I get using my Apple TV 4K box. The only drop in value is when I watch sports on the telus + app and for marquee games like the NHL playoffs it would be great to see these high quality. Thanks.

Hi! Upon checking, While 4K channels are available on Telus's Optik TV platform and potentially the new Telus box, the Apple TV app currently doesn't offer 4K channels as a streaming option through Telus's service.
