Accès RTSP local sur caméra ADC-V723x (SmartHome Security) ?
Bonjour, J'ai une caméra extérieure Alarm.com ADC-V723x avec TELUS SmartHome Security. Sur mon réseau local, elle expose un serveur RTSP (port 554) protégé par authentification Digest, mais l'app et le portail ne montrent aucune option RTSP ni identifiants. Je voudrais visionner le flux en local dans mon système domotique (NVR tiers), sans rien changer à mon abonnement ni à l'enregistrement infonuagique. Est-ce que TELUS peut activer l'accès RTSP local et fournir les identifiants et l'URL du flux ? Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà obtenu ça pour un modèle ADC-V7xx ? Merci !Unresolved TELUS Home Security Issues
I need to file a formal management complaint regarding ongoing TELUS Home Security failures since August 2026. I have had two unsuccessful technician visits, paid $200 for an ineffective repair, and spent approximately nine hours on the phone without resolution. Please escalate this directly to the Customer Resolution Management Team and provide a written complaint reference number. I do not wish to be redirected to technical support or retention services.
My front door camera batteries are dead
Hi, my front door camera is dead. When I charge it it turns on and stays on for 10mins but it dies again. I think the battery is dead. Can I get it replaced? I had it installed in 2021 so it is an old model. my home account number is [Mod Edit: Removed personal info] under [removed personal info]
Security camera doorbell: Ongoing monthly charges after March cancellation
In March ‘26 I ordered the security camera doorbell from Telus. It arrived and I was completely dissatisfied. First of all, it requires a Smart phone to use, which I don’t have and have no intention of getting one. Secondly, very cheaply made. It was of no use to me, so I called Telus and said I wanted to return it. The agent I spoke with was very understanding and told me that the order would be cancelled. He also said to NOT return the camera. Since then I have been billed $10 each month for a system I am not using. I called Telus yesterday and spoke with an agent who has very poor English. She informed me that I must pay $146.75 cancellation fee!!! The agent I spoke with in March did not tell me that. So they charge me every month for a security service, plus they want a cancellation fee. How insane is that? I have been a Telus customer for as long as I can remember.. I expect better service than this…. And it would be nice to speak with someone who speaks English. And it also would be good to be able to email or send a letter to Telus. These phone calls are very frustrating . Someone , please respond to this.
Arming from Keypad
We just had to update from Vivint to Telus. The installation was yesterday and I’m trying to set a rule or an “automation” to arm the house from the door keypad when leaving. The only thing I’ve been able to do is arm the house when the door is locked, whether from the keypad or when we lock the door from the inside. Has anyone been able to just arm from the keypad when leaving?
Doorbell camera doesn’t pick up animals
I have an ADV-VDB750 doorbell camera installed. It picks up people but not animals like cats and dogs. I see no option to set the size of motion or to ensure animals as well as people are detected. Am I missing a setting or is this option not available on doorbells??Wanting to take over Telus service and equipment for a house I just bought
Hi, I just moved into a house in Steinbach Manitoba that the previous owner had built which means the Telus line is already buried. The previous house owner tried to transfer her account (services and equipment) to me but didn't have my contact information at the time so she had to cancel the service. Now when I contact Telus, they are saying I cannot take over the service as the previous owner cancelled the service and I have to get new equipment - which I have to install myself as there are no installers in Steinbach. I just want to have take over the service that Telus was providing without getting new equipment. Any assistance would be appreciated. BGGraffitis on Telus boxes, Okotoks, AB
