Is this a reel Telus agent (844) 372-1809

Hi received a call from someone saying they are a Telus agent from (844) 372-1809 yesterday and they offered me a very competitive plan. I want to know if this is likely a Scam if this is indeed a Telus agent number.

    I am getting called from a Telus Rep to lower my monthly rates - 1-587-782-5255, they provided employee numbers: HR306N... how do I verify this?
