Looking at the description of the Smart Smoke Sensors offered with your Smart Home products, it states that: "This wireless smoke sensor doesn’t replace your existing smoke sensor, but rather provides additional awareness allowing for remote notification for smoke and heat detection through the app." Why is it that these sensors are not enough by themselves?
