What happened to The News Forum on channel 842 in Calgary?
Upon calling Telus I was informed the channel has been discontinued and is no longer available. Thanks for attempting to help dru.

From what I can tell, there shouldn't be any interruption to that channel. Have you tried logging into your online profile to see if you're still subscribed to it?
- Yes, still subscribed within the legacy news bundle but it doesn't show as a subscribed channel in the guide.

Can you try toggling the menu to view all channels or only subscribed channels? Trying to weed out other issues. Here's how:
- Press Guide on your Optik TV remote control
- Press Options
- Scroll down to Guide settings and press OK
- Select Customize settings
- Scroll left to Check all
- Scroll up to Save
Am I the only person who watched The News Forum? Channel 842 was working up until May 1, 2023 but now is not even listed as a channel. Did the CRTC shut it down because it is a conservative oriented channel?
