  • Did the blog post about the new Optik get deleted? Seems a little lame, if so.
  • Bumping this because I think a lot of existing customers will be interested in the new features as they learn about it.

    Yes! New customers signing up for Optik TV now have access to recordings on the go via the TELUS TV+ app.

      More to it than remote access to recordings, the new box supports Dolby Atmos, has voice activation and other new features the old box doesn’t have. Typical that its only available to new customers.

        I imagine the new box will eventually be coming to existing customers as well. I can only imagine how many existing Optik set top boxes there are and how long it will take to get replacements out and set up. That's assuming no additional international shipping delays from the manufacturer of new box.
