Tax on Bring it Back program
I understand that sales tax is paid upfront at sign up on the financed amount of the device, ie device cost minus Bring it Back cost. I'm wondering if there's also sales tax on the monthly Telus Easy Payments over the 24 months. If so, then we're paying tax on the device twice!? Anyone know?
Since the full taxes are paid up front, no taxes are charged on the monthly payments.
